- Go to the official Forge website: https://files.minecraftforge.net/

- Click the Installer button. (Avoid the “Latest” version unless you know what you’re doing—Recommended is more stable.)
- Wait for the ad page, then click “Skip” in the top-right corner to download Forge.
Step 2: Install Forge
- Once the Forge installer (.jar file) is downloaded, double-click to open it.
- Select “Install Client” and click OK.
- Wait for Forge to install. You’ll see a confirmation message when it’s done.
Step 3: Launch Minecraft with Forge
- Open the Minecraft Launcher.
- In the bottom-left, click the dropdown menu next to the “Play” button.
- Select the profile that says Forge.
- Click Play and wait for Minecraft to load with Forge installed.
Step 4: Install Mods (Optional, But Fun!)
- Find Minecraft mods from a trusted site like CurseForge.
- Download mods that match your Minecraft + Forge version.
- Navigate to your Minecraft mods folder:
- Press Win + R, type
%appdata%\.minecraft\mods
, and hit Enter.
- (If there’s no “mods” folder, create one yourself.)
- Drag and drop the mod files (.jar) into the mods folder.
- Launch Minecraft with Forge, and your mods should load!
